The 3rd tournament of the season was held last weekend and saw the girls putting in some great performances to finish top of their league. They were beaten only by Thirsk in a very close match with a final score of 3:2, but in all their other games came out on top. They will now progress to league D, and hopefully with a higher standard of opposition we will see them up their game even further. 0-0 draw against Northallerton 2-0 win against Leeds 1-0 win against Halifax 3-0 loss against Ben Rhydding 2-0 loss against York The U12s girls had a productive day with a goalless draw against Northallerton, getting the ball high and creating pressure on it. Slazenger U12 Girls took part in their latest round of matches in the Yorkshire Youth League. They opened up with a 0-0 draw against local rivals Wakefield and followed it with a 1-1 draw with Kirklees. Philippa Secker scoring. Next was a goalless draw against Doncaster before a one-sided match against Pickering with Heather Bates and Laura Waterton both scoring. Slazenger U12's took part in four Yorkshire Youth League matches at the weekend, the highlight being a 4-0 win over local rivals Wakefield. The competition started with a 0-0 draw with Pickering where they missed a number of chances to win the match, but made amends in the second match against Wakefield powering to a 4-0 win.
