Slazengers mens 2nd team suffered their first defeat of the season to top of the league Doncaster on Saturday going down 3-1 at home. Slaz started the game off with mixed attention, several none forced errors in passing. Due to bad weather this was slaz's first match in a month and it could've been a tough one but Slaz managed to start brightly and took the game to Doncaster. Slaz took an early lead through Ben Graham and thois seemed to wake Doncaster up as they started to play the better hockey. A slow after Christmas start for the Slazenger’s fifth team saw a dismal first half with a competent Doncaster team who ran rings around both young and old players.
