After a slightly late start on a cold day Slazengers were straight on the attack with a short corner awarded within the first minute. Unfortunately the ladies were unable to score from it and that continued for some time with many chances for Slazengers and a disallowed goal for Stacey Drake. Report: 05-01-2013 - Ladies 2nd's (3) vs. (0) Canalside Terriers 1st's Slazengers ladies seconds were all fired up after the festive break and arrived in Mirfield with high hopes of a win against Canalside Terriers who were sitting comfortably at 5th in the league. Slazengers pressed well from the off and were showing promise with several shots on target that were saved by the Terriers keeper.
