Slazengers started brightly playing away against a youthful Bradford development side. All the team played with confidence and were looking to pass the ball early and making good use of the wings. Slazenger Boys U10's continued their unbeaten start to the Yorkshire Youth Hockey Association's six-a-side competition with four more wins from games played at Outwood Grange College on Sunday. Tim Carr and Paul Wiper both scored hat tricks as Slazenger seconds romped to a 9-2 friendly win over Bradford. Slazenger went a goal down early in the first half, but two foals from Wiper in the last ten minutes of the first half gave the Horbury men the upper hand. Slazenger U10s Boys played their last tournament of the season at Huntingdon and despite some disappointing results, they showed great progress. With no chance of silverware this season, Slazenger gave boys who will still be young enough to play next season a run out.
