Slazenger’s seconds followed on from their great result last week with another solid victory against highly placed Ben Rhydding thirds. Slazenger's have a new found confidence and this showed straight from the off, the whole team linking up well to create a number of chances with Neil Croucher at the centre of much of the play. Report: 13-02-2005 – Boys U12 Tournament
Slazenger U12s took part in a series of tournament games and although they did not manage a win were pleased with their progress during the day. In the first match, Slaz started strongly against a skilled Halifax team, producing a well struck goal from Chris Wood, but Halifax hit back to win. Slazenger seconds poor start to the season continued after they suffered a disappointing 3-1 defeat away to Ben Rhydding III in a game that they could have so easily won.
