A very determined and disciplined team performance saw Slazengers Development team beat a skilful and well organised Sheffield Hallam Development team. After only playing the university of Leeds 2 weeks ago and losing 5-2 we were in for a tough game. Slazengers started well with plenty of chances and the majority of play. No goals had come by half time. After half time Slazengers came back even stronger and managed to get 2 goals in quick succession. The Yvonne Horner Shield cup game meant a Sunday push back at home against leeds 3's for Slazengers 3s in a game that saw end to end action throughout. Slazengers ladies thirds followed up their first home win of the season with a first away win of the season in a toughly fought match against Bradford University. The home team started strongly with some strong play and possession which lead to 2 goals from Richard Tuddenham and Phil Midgley.
