Slazengers ladies first team got off to a great start this Saturday, with an early goal in the first 4 minutes. Bright and early start at Wakefield with both teams having limited numbers. Slazengers had most of the attacking play from the start and Claire Dunstan opened the scoring tally. The Ladies 3rds had an unlucky draw against a physically tough Huddersfield 1s early on Saturday morning. Huddersfield started off strong getting their two goals of the game in the first 15 minutes before Slazengers woke up. Slazenger Ladies 3's travelled to Epworth in an attempt to secure their second win of the season. Slazengers created some brilliant goal scoring opportunities, with Amy Brereton putting in a strong performance up front on her debut and being awarded with player of the match. First game of the season started really well. With a new line up for the 2s getting used to different positions and new faces.
