Slazenger Seconds failed to hit top form on grass at Dinnington, but did enough to secure three points with a 2-2 draw and with it Yorkshire League Promotion. Slazenger took the lead with a well-worked Mark Swinden goal, but Dinnington hit back to level before the break and nosed in front with a second just after the interval. SLAZENGER fourths produced a runaway 5-1 win over Doncaster sevenths to make it a Yorkshire League promotional "double" for the Horbury club.
