Slazenger Ladies clinched the Yorkshire League 2 championship after a tense, keenly-fought encounter with second-placed Bedale. It was Slazenger's penultimate Yorkshire League fixture and proved to be a thrill-a-minute encounter with the lead changing hands three times. Slazenger fourths played out a fiercely-contested 2-2 draw with Lincoln thirds. Slaz started stronger, taking the lead after a few minutes, courtesy of a well-struck goal from Ian Gordon, but Lincoln fought back hard and managed to level.
