Slazenger Thirds lost 2-1 to Normanby Park seconds in a game they dominated overall. However, a failure to convert their chances cost the home side dearly. Depleted Slazenger seconds made hosts Sheffield Bankers work hard for their 2-1 victory and the Yorkshire League 4 points. The result does Slazenger no justice at all after the side put in one of its best team displays of the North East Division 2 season.
