Ben Graham and Tim Carr bagged a hat-trick apiece as Slazenger made it two wins in two weeks with a convincing 6-1 win at Normanby Park. The game was littered with indiscipline throughout and the Slazenger’s player’s inability to control their emotions inevitably led to the loss. Richmond took the lead through a penalty stroke only for Slazenger’s to show the sort of game they are capable of to hit back with 2 quick goals, Mark Swindon converting a penalty … [Read more...] about Report: 29-09-2007 – Mens 1st’s (3) vs. (4) Richmond Mens 1st’s
Report: 22-09-2007 – Ladies 3rd’s (2) vs (2) Acomb 2nd’s
Slazengers started the game as they meant to go on and kept the ball in possession for most of the first half. 2 unlucky strikes by Ailish Hendry prevented Slazengers from scoring in the first half. Unfortunately Acomb took advantage of a break and scored once in open play then again from a short corner just before the half time whistle. Second half was much better for Slazengers who prevented Acomb scoring again with some good defending from Julie Finch and great defensive play in the middle … [Read more...] about Report: 22-09-2007 – Ladies 3rd’s (2) vs (2) Acomb 2nd’s
