Scorer of Slazenger’s second goal: Claire Dunstan
First weekend was a double header with another league game Sunday against a fresh Pudsey who hadn’t had a Saturday game.
Slazengers played an even more attacking game with another goal from Naomi Frith and a second goal coming from Claire Dunstan before half time there was no stopping the pace. An injury led to there being no subs and a yellow card had Slazengers down to 10 players but it true style the players never stopped attacking and still came away with a 2-0 victory!
Player of the match went to newcomer Amy Brereton for a brilliant first outing for the seconds.
