Slazenger ladies 4th team played league leaders Dronfield and after they scored from their first attack it was clear it would be a difficult afternoon for the home team. The visitors scored another 5 goals in the first half.
Slazenger came out fighting in the second half and played some good hockey, which was rewarded with a goal from Claire Dunstan. Player of the match Mandy Lacey played an excellent game in defence and supported the team well in the midfield.
But the visitors were just simply to strong and the final score was 1 – 10.
