City of York stood with Slaz around the circle to hold a minute silence for Bob France who will be missed by all.
Slaz were unsettled to start and looked weaker than top of league side, but Slaz created spells of good play which kept city of York at bay for much of first half. But York got one through. At half time slaz had nothing to shout about and came out with determination. City of York were on the back foot for much of the second half and realised they were not going to find the win easy.
Man of the match James Cowden had a great game and made several game saves. Slaz created several chances and finally were rewarded with a goal. City of York scored an final whistle short corner with a well executed drag flick to take a 2-1 win. Slaz came of the pitch proud of a good second half.
