A good series of results for the boys today:

We should be promoted, second behind York who won their other four games.
A far more solid defensive performance this tournament, thanks in the main to Matt Feather and Rowan Tejura. We also put together some striking passing moves (our first goal against York involved a pass by Matt to Luke Gueli on the wing, a pass by Luke down the wing to Isaac Fisher, a cross by Isaac to debutant Tom Pitchforth who finished cooly and clinically from 3 yards out). However, in our later matches we fell into the errors of taking the ball down the middle, not using the width and carrying it too far.
Good performances from all the boys, paticularly the relative newcomers like Luke, Tom and Matt. We had ten boys out and there is genuine competition for places. We also loaned Alex King and Nick Calderley to Doncaster for 5 matches between them.
