Slazenger seconds entertained league leaders Chapeltown in need of a good performance – and three points. They got the performance but were dissapointed at not getting something out of the game.
Chapeltown took the lead inside the first five minutes, but man of the match Tim Carr levelled ten minutes later. Again the visitors went ahead with Neil Croucher this time cancelling out the goal before half-time. Andy Birkett and Simon Chamberlain went close for Slazenger before Chapeltown netted the winner ten minutes from time.
Slazenger travel to York on Saturday eager for the taste of victory after the bitterness of back-to-back defeats.
