Report: 27-10-2007 – Mens 2nd’s (9) vs. (2) Bradford 2nd’s

October 27, 2007 by Slazenger HC

Tim Carr and Paul Wiper both scored hat tricks as Slazenger seconds romped to a 9-2 friendly win over Bradford. Slazenger went a goal down early in the first half, but two foals from Wiper in the last ten minutes of the first half gave the Horbury men the upper hand.

Bradford levelled after the break but it wasnt long before Wiper had netted his third. Minutes later Carr scored Slazenger’s fourth and moments later he was on the scoresheet again.

Christian Oldroyd made it 6-2 and Wiper netted his fourth with man of the match Carr notching goal no 7 with his hat-trick goal.

Jez Whawell pounced on a loose ball to close a clinical day’s work for Slazenger.
