Slazenger Thirds also got their season off to a flier following a 3-1 success over visiting Chapeltown Seconds.
The hosts dominated the game throughout but were held in a goalless first half.
The visitors made a spirited start to the second period and scored from their first attack.
But the rest of the game belonged to Slazenger and although John Sykes, Jonathan Clewlow and Eddie Richardson missed several chances before they hit the goal trial.
It was Richardson who drew the home side level after recieving an excellent pass from James Walker.
Richardson then added his second before John Sykes wraped up victory with a third.
