SLAZENGER came back down to earth with a bump on Saturday after their previous week’s impressive victory.
Slazenger failed to find their rhythm against third-placed Bradford and went 1-0 down to an early penalty following a goal-mouth scramble.
The weakened Slazenger side continued to struggle up to half-time when a stern team talk whipped them back into shape.
Alec Gilston secured an early second-half equaliser. But Slazenger slipped into bad habits once again and Bradford pounced to snatch a late winner.
Despite defeat, Slazenger remained six points clear at the top of Yorkshire Division 1.
Man of the match was James Swinden.
Slazenger entertain Hull on Saturday.
