Performance of the day was from Slazenger 4th’s, who made a tremendous start to the season with a 6-1 in over their Leeds rivals.
Just minutes into the game, John Sykes opened the scoring with a penalty flick – and Slazenger continued to punish Leeds and were 3-0 up at the interval.
A minor defensive gesture allowed Leeds a token gesture goal, but two more from Sykes and further strikes from James Walker and skipper Jonathan Halliday made it 6-1
