Slazenger fifths were just too skillful and too quick for cross-city rivals Wakefield and subsequently ran out comforatble 4-1 winners at College Grove.
Wakefield did take to lead from a very good short corner but from their on in it was all Slazenger.
Scorers were Haydn Foster, Paul Whitman, Richard O’shea and Simon Hurley.
Man of the match was goalkeeper Jim Heller.
Slazenger entertain Sheffield on Saturday, push-back 1.30pm.
