Slazengers Ladies 3rd's made an early morning visit to a Rotherham side only one position above them in the league table. Slazengers made a positive start to the game dominating possession of the ball, which was rewarded midway through the half when Lily Miles smashed the ball into the D and Justine Birkett got a sly delection. The under 14 girls played some great hockey in this weekends tournament at Darton College. A brilliant end to end game against Rotherham saw the girls leading 1:0 for most part, thanks to a well worked goal finished off by Leah Pearman and great work from Goal keeper Eleanor Cramp (on her debut). This weekend, there is a slight change of plans to usual. Sunday 8th November – Schools Tournament On Sunday 8th November, Slazengers will be hosting a tournament against local schools. These have been receiving coaching over the last term and it’s a chance to put it to the test against U10 & U12 teams from the club!
