Arriving at a windy cold Leeds with 11 players to their 16 it looked like it was going to be a challenge. Slazengers went out hard as always but the first 10 minutes saw Leeds looking like the stronger team. Slazengers settled into their game and then took control. After a slow start Slaz 4 found themselves trailing 3-0 after 20 minutes. Not to despair new comers to the team Dene Minichalla and Josh Swallow dropped into mid field to help plug the gaps, the tide was turning on the run in to half time. Report: 29-11-2015 – Girls U14’s
The girls u14 team had a great morning of hockey at Leeds Grammar school, despite the weather!! Their first game saw them take an early lead against Brigg. Their goal was soon cancelled out when Brigg broke through the defence to equalise, however Slazenger never gave up and managed a further 2 goals to leave the final score 3:1.
