The Wakefield 10k run takes place on Sunday 3rd of April. Horbury bypass will be closed to all traffic between 9am and 10am. Sunday saw Slazengers mens first team play their second game of the weekend against Leeds Adel Carnegie 3's. Slazengers dominated much of the possession in the first half only to see Adel take a lead off a quick break. Slazengers equalised through Richard Tuddenham and continued to press but Adel held out till half time. This was a top of the table clash where a win from this game could swing who wins the one promotion place. The pressure was on for both sides and you could tell alot was a stake with the physicalness of the game. Slazengers opened the scoring with goals from Sarah Hobbs and Holly Tyers. Slazenger Ladies 3rd’s hockey team continued their winning form with a 2-0 win over 3rd placed Colne Valley. It was a great match for Slazengers who continued to build on their form from last week by playing some good hockey.
