Slazengers U16 girls had the perfect end to the last tournament of 2011. We travelled to Harrogate for fixtures against local rivals, Wakefield, Bradford and Doncaster with a squad of 14 players. Although the weather was cold and windy, we were spared the rain/sleet that other squads and training at Slazenger encountered. On a very wet Sunday 4th December Slazeneger's Under 12 boys took to the field at Leeds University. Slazenger Men’s 2nd Team hosted Doncaster 5s and were expecting a close match against the normally well drilled Doncaster outfit but it turned out to be a big win for Slaz beating the visitors 6-0. Slaz pilled the pressure early on in the game and were rewarded with a goal ten minutes in. Matt Green passed the ball down the left wing to Simon Randall who ran into the ‘D’ and slotted the ball passed the keeper at his near post.
