Training Details for the Festive Season
Training will be taking a short break over Christmas, but dont worry, it will be back soon! Junior training has finished, and will return in the new year. Sunday training restarts - Sunday 8th January 2012 Monday training restarts - Monday 9th January 2012 Senior training is on this week at normal times. Slazenger 1sts travelled away to Leeds Met Uni to face off against Leeds Adel Carnegie 3rd's. The pitch was recently relayed and provide a fast surface, to which Slazenger took to well. Some fast hockey from Slazenger showed intent, with fast darting attacks keeping Carnegie on the defensive. Slazengers U16 girls had the perfect end to the last tournament of 2011. The weather certainly was the first challenge with the cold temperatures, horizontal rain & hail & a very blustery wind to boot. Slazenger (3) vs. (0) L.A. Report: 04-12-2011 – U14 Boys triumph in Harrogate
We travelled to Harrogate for fixtures against local rivals, Wakefield, Bradford and Doncaster with a squad of 14 players. Although the weather was cold and windy, we were spared the rain/sleet that other squads and training at Slazenger encountered.
