Summer 2024 Pay and Play Hockey

Now the 2024 Summer League is ending, we're sure you're wondering what's next! For those who still want a weekly run out, the club will be running weekly social hockey sessions until preseason training returns in August. The sessions will be running between Wednesday 12th June and Wednesday 24th July, and will be £3 per session. Slazenger Under 12’s at the National Finals

In May 2024, Slazenger Juniors travelled to the Nottingham Hockey Centre to compete in the National Finals. Slazenger Hockey Club based in the small town of Horbury prides itself on being a family based social club. Slaz Masters’ Busy Weekend

Last weekend saw many of the regional masters tournaments go ahead. Slazenger was well represented in 4 of the Yorkshire and North East Squads, including the Ladies Over 35's the previous weekend. Umpires, We Need You!

Our hockey happens because members like you volunteer to umpire. However we don’t currently have enough umpires at Slazenger HC. Do you want to help your hockey club and do your share?We need to get more members qualified in the run up to next season so that we have a larger group available to umpire. Whilst some games do not require a qualified umpire, a lot do. Being qualified also helps with confidence and decision making.
