Slaz were under pressure from the start with Rotherham closing down the slaz defence. With the use of the new rule slaz were able to release the slaz attackers with the ball fired over the top of the Rotherham high press. A Cracking Start for the Development Team The Men’s Development team started the season with a fresh line up and a 4 – 2 win over Rotherham. The back line was led by Harry Buttery, possibly the shortest goal keeper in this league, with Andy Fisher, Mayank Gupta, Danny Croxall and PJ. Slazengers final game of the season felt like a training match for the first 15 minutes with lots of time on the ball and no real pressure from the opposition. Slazenger had been monitoring the snow situation on the Rotherham pitch on the Friday and it looked like the game was going to be cancelled.
