Saturday's game was a very important fixture as it was between the top two teams in Division 4: Horsforth 1 at top of the table and Slazenger 2s in 2nd, with this in mind Slazengers was determined to play hard. Slazenger Mens 1st's got off to a flying start, even with the 10:30 push back away at Chapeltown. Within 10 minutes, the team had secured the first goal, in what turned out to be a fast pivoting scoreline; with Slaz and Chapeltown fighinting for the upperhand.
