SLAZENGER fourths produced a runaway 5-1 win over Doncaster sevenths to make it a Yorkshire League promotional "double" for the Horbury club. James Swinden (2), Phil Ventom, Paul wiper, and James Walker were the on-the-day scorers. Keith Hellam and Peter Fielding were deputising from the fifths and both were in excellent form. HOCKEY - Slazengers mixed team entertained Pilkington's of Doncaster at Southfield, on Saturday, and after a hard game the result was a 2-2 draw. Pilkington's, who fielded a very strong team, were first to score, but just before half time G. Heald equalised for Slazengers.
