Slazenger Ladies went seven-up against Bingley in their Yorkshire Cup clash triumphing 7-1. They enjoyed a devastating first ten minutes, taking a 3-0 lead, courtesy of Lindsay Harvey, Julie Bear and Sue Swinden. Slazenger fifths travelled to Halifax without three key players and with only ten men. And by half time, they were three goals down. An Ian Wiper hat trick helped Slazenger fourths enjoy a 6-4 win at Ben Rhydding. They enjoyed a perfect start with a brace of goals from Dave Smyth, although the hosts soon pulled one back.
