This is just a quick note to remind you about this weekends Junior End of Season BBQ. Tickets are for sale behind the bar in the Clubhouse. Please buy beforehand so we know numbers for catering. All are welcome on the day, but we may not have enough food for you if tickets are not reserved! Junior Hockey Summer Training Dates
The Junior End of Season BBQ is on the Saturday 7th May. Between now and then, there will be 3 special summer training sessions open to all U8, U10 and U12 boys and girls. Mens 1st's (5) vs. (5) Normanby Park 1st's Slazenger hosted Normanby Park 1st's for their last game of the season at Addingford. The game had a subdued mood to it as we learned that this would be the last game Normanby Park would ever play; diminishing numbers saw to it after decades being a regular fixture for many Slazenger teams. Mens 1st's (1) vs. (1) Leeds 5th's Slazenger 1st's hosted Leeds 5th's on Saturday at Addingford, Horbury in what turned into an frustrating encounter; ending 1-1. It was Slaz who started the stronger, putting pressure on the visiting team with some fast flowing hockey which had been missing for the last couple of games.
