U10 Boys - Yorkshire and North East FinalsThe boys are officially the 7th best team in Yorkshire and North East after playing today in the England Hockey U10 In2Hockey Yorkshire and North East Cup at Leeds.   The boys did so well to qualify for the cup and they played so exceptionally well today against some top teams including keeping both York and Ben Rhydding to 1-0 loss. Under 8'sThis lovely bunch of U8s were playing today at Leeds Adel. It was a debut game for four players today and what an incredible debut it was for Emily, Heidi, Georgia and Maci! Game 1 v AdelElla and Emily started in defence, strongly making tackles when needed. Ella distributed the ball beautifully to the midfield players and the team were rewarded with their first goal scored by Matthew. Under 12 Hockey FinalsThe boys were out for their last tournament of the season yesterday, playing in the In2Plate Finals. Slazenger (5) vs. (0) Kingston-Upon-Hull [Scorers: Owen x 3, Alfie, Will]Unlike our previous tournaments we started this tournament very strongly against a Hull side we didn't know much about. That said, we took an early two goal lead  with Owen scoring both in quick succession. Ladies 2nd's (1) vs. (3) Tadcaster 1st'sFinal game of the season was away at Tadcaster, for a sunny midday game. Slaz had a fast start with a short corner very early in the game, which Slaz managed to capitalise on, scored by captain Alex from a deflected pass off Evie.
