The first week of June is Volunteer Week across the UK. As a community hockey club, we're powered by volunteers. Every season, hundreds of Slazenger hockey players across all age groups take to the pitch. Now the 2024 Summer League is ending, we're sure you're wondering what's next! For those who still want a weekly run out, the club will be running weekly social hockey sessions until preseason training returns in August. In May 2024, Slazenger Juniors travelled to the Nottingham Hockey Centre to compete in the National Finals. Slazenger Hockey Club based in the small town of Horbury prides itself on being a family based social club. Last weekend saw many of the regional masters tournaments go ahead. Slazenger was well represented in 4 of the Yorkshire and North East Squads, including the Ladies Over 35's the previous weekend.
