Slazengers mens first team faced high flyers Driffield and came away on the wrong side of a 7-2 scoreline. As is so often the case this season, Slazengers found themselves 2-0 after barely 10 minutes and had only themselves to blame with both goals coming as a result of defensive errors. Slazengers mens first eleven suffered a 4-1 defeat at the hands of Leeds which could certainly come under the title of 'difficult to take'. The first half was pretty even with Leeds playing composed hockey but offering little threat to the Slazengers goal, where as Slazengers were content to soak up the pressure and hit Leeds on the break. Slazengers mens first team continued their recent run of form with a well deserved draw away at Doncaster and but for a couple of defensive lapses, could easily have come away with all three points.
