Slazengers mens 2nd team recorded their second 1-1 draw in as many weeks on Saturday at home to Leeds. Slazengers will have been pleased with a much improved performance creating a number of chances throughout the game. Slaz had another long trip to Driffield this week with again a young side. The first half was one to forget for the greens as they were losing 4-0 at the break. Slazenger mens 1st's hosted Adel 1sts on Saturday, expecting a tough encounter with the high flying top of the league side. However, it was the visitors who struggled, eventually being run out 4-2 It was the a quick, end to end game, with both sides playing some free flowing hockey. Slaz 4s were finally at home after 4 weeks against a much more experienced Doncaster side which would prove to be a key factor. In the first half Doncaster scored 2 goals which were deserved of the run of play as Slaz were constantly under pressure from a strong Doncaster attack. Development team played a very strong and talented Harrogate team. As a new team Slazengers took time to settle and were 3-0 down at half time despite some great commitment.
