The season is over, but dont worry, dry those teary eyes. SUMMER TRAINING IS HERE!!! Every Wednesday evening 8-9pm starting this week (13th April), at the bargin basement price of only £3. Its open to all senior section players (and Juniors who play in the senior teams) - some mixed games / knock about on the pitch to keep your skills sharp. Slazenger Mens 3rd team finished the season on a high, after beating the league leaders on their home turf. Slaz traveled out to Grimsby on the last day of the season, looking to finish on the same good form they had demonstrated the week earlier. The game started quicker than usual, with both teams looking for the illusive first goal. Slaz pressed hard, and were well in side Grimsby's half within minutes. Report: 09-04-2011 – Mens 1st’s (4) vs (1) Rotherham 2nd’s

Slazengers mens first team finished the season with a 4-1 win against a physical Rotherham side. Slazengers pressed from the whistle and went close on a number of occassions, Paul Wiper finally getting the break through with a deft touch to elude the Rotherham keeper. Slazengers continued to press forward to no avail but weren't too keen on working back which allowed Rotherham to grab an equaliser.
