Slazenger Men’s 5ths (Development) travelled to Lincoln to face Lindum. A tight game played out in 23 degree heat saw no goals but plenty of sweat!
Both teams had chances but it finished goalless. Slazenger MoM was Alex Stacey who constantly troubled the Lindum defence.

Development team played a very strong and talented Harrogate team.
As a new team Slazengers took time to settle and were 3-0 down at half time despite some great commitment.
Second half saw a much more settled team with some good opportunities at the Harrogate end but to no avail. Scott carruthers man of match. 3-0 to Harrogate final score.

Another great team performance saw Slazengers Development team travel to Thirsk and draw 1-1 despite a make shift Slazenger team. Slazengers goal was scored by a determined James Armitage.
Great work in midfield by all to stop Thirsk playing their attacking game with some very skilled players.

In a very close mid table battle Slazengers were tenacious pinning down the Rotherham side and reducing their opportunities. The midfield work really hard in both defence and attack against a strong adult based opposition.
Harry Buttery got on to the end of a great through ball to get Slazengers their well earned goal while at the other end star keeper Dan alderson kept out their threats on goal.
Another great win but more importantly another great team performance

Doncaster visited Slazengers development team which saw Slazengers well organised and moving the ball well.
Before long Slazengers had a short corner for Matty chilton to strike from again. Like the week before this was followed by well worked goal finished by Tristan Whittle. Withstanding some pressure slazengers defence held firm before Tom Gommersal got on the he score sheet.
A great team performance right from goalie harry Buttery and all through the side. 3-0.
