Development team played a very strong and talented Harrogate team. As a new team Slazengers took time to settle and were 3-0 down at half time despite some great commitment. In a very close mid table battle Slazengers were tenacious pinning down the Rotherham side and reducing their opportunities. The midfield work really hard in both defence and attack against a strong adult based opposition. Harry Buttery got on to the end of a great through ball to get Slazengers their well earned goal while at the other end star keeper Dan alderson kept out their threats on goal. Doncaster visited Slazengers development team which saw Slazengers well organised and moving the ball well. Before long Slazengers had a short corner for Matty chilton to strike from again.
