October 8, 2005 by Slazenger HC

Promoted, injury hit Slazenger made a bright start but were playing catchup from the tenth minute. A great strike from Julie Finch from a short corner was saved but Amy Smeaton touched the ball over the line to level. March 12, 2005 by Slazenger HC

In what was always going to be a challenge Wakefield began brightly, pressing the visitors to play in their own half. However, against the run of play it was Slazenger who took the lead with a shot that took an unfortunate deflection off a Wakefield foot. With the title at stake Wakefield continued to attack after the restart with Kellie Ogilvie and Rachael Spraggs taking advantage of the space out wide. Slazenger's threatened through the middle but central defender Claire Hewitt was on hand … [Read more...] about Report: 12-03-2005 – Ladies 1st’s (2) vs (3) Wakefield 1st’s
