The first game back after the Christmas break saw Slazengers ladies 3s take on Tadcaster Magnets 2s in an early afternoon home fixture. Slazengers ladies 3s made the long journey to North Yorkshire to face a Pickering side in a rearranged Sunday fixture. Another tough game with only 11 players proved a challenging match for Slazengers. Ben Rhydding scored 2 goals from short corners but could of had many more as Slazengers defended approximately 20 short corners. Slazengers ladies 3s took on an in-form Lough 1s in a home fixture. Lough were favourites having made an impressive start to the season with an even more impressive goal scoring record. Facing top of the league was always going to be a tough game. Slazengers started too slowly and Selby scored 2 goals fairly quickly. Slazengers battled well and no more goals came in the first half.
