SLAZENGER U10 girls endured mixed fortunes as they signed off in their last tournament of the season at York. In their opener, the girls made a polished start by sinking York B 2-0, thanks to goals from the impressive Sophie Williams and Rebecca Jessop. Slazenger gained three victories from their five matches in a Boys U12s hockey tournament at Leeds on Sunday. Despite having the majority of possession in the opening game against York B, Slazengers failed to cash in but Isaac Fisher cooly scored after excellent work by man of the tournament Jack Kitchen, who beat three defenders before putting in a telling pass, to win 1-0. Barrass boost for Slaz' SLAZENGER U10s had a mixed bag of results at the Huntington tournament near York at the weekend.
