After the questionnaire, and much discussion, it has been decided to change the way senior training is run, and expand the amount of training time avaliable to accomodate the growing club. Woodkirk Partnership Year 5 Tournament
The Woodkirk Partnership Year 5 hockey tournament will be held at Slazenger Hockey Club on 15th May at 12noon – 3pm. Slazenger Juniors Selected for Yorkshire
On Sunday, 8 of the current Slazenger boys U14's squad competed in Durham at the Nothern Region County JAC tournament for West Yorkshire. 5 played for the U14 team, 3 for the U15 team; Aidan Hopkinson, Ralph Toon, Rowan Tejura, Matthew Stacey and Luke Gueli, Isaac Fisher, Matthew Feather and Robert Caan. Report: 18-03-2012 – Girls U10′s Last Tournament of the Season
Having been the reason to cancel the last 3 of the girls tournaments, the weather more than made up for itself adding to the enjoyment of what proved to be a very successful and enjoyable mornings hockey. Slazengers were able to once again field two teams, the A team playing in the "C" league (being made up of the year 5 girls), and the B team playing in the "D" league (being made up of girls years 2 - 4).
