It may seem like a long time off, but this summer, Slazenger is planning to rerun the Summer Solstace tournament after a 10 year absence. When it last ran, it was a sevens tournament, with teams from the local area and further afield playing over 2 days. Slazenger Ladies 3rd’s hockey team played Doncaster at home . Both teams were quiteevenly matched which resulted in a really enjoyable end to end hockey match for players & spectators alike.Slazengers had a bit of a reshuffle & pulled Heather Bates back to assist the usual defensive duo of Julie Finch & Karen Bates.
