Slazenger mens 1st's were the only team to play on Saturday, with all other matches being cancelled due to the frost. However, the team did not dissapoint, logging a 3-0 victory over table strugglers Brigg 2nd's. The game was swift with plenty of end to end hockey, and fast passing moves, Slaz started confidently on a very cold day, against the Brigg side. It was back to business for Slazenger’s after the festive season and they didn’t fail to disappoint. Slaznger Mens 3rds also started back on Saturday, hosting Lincoln 3rds at home. The game was almost as tough as it had been on the away leg. However, with the team bouyed by recent wins and still in the hunt for promotion, Slaz came away with a well fought 2-1 victory. The game stated at pace.
