Wrap-up of New Pitch Opening
2013 saw the replacement of the ageing sand based pitch with a state-of-the-art sand dressed synthetic turf pitch. This will update the pitch to the highest quality, providing a fantastic new playing surface and bringing the facilities up to date. Some great debutante performances but the Gunning brothers nab a goal each in a well matched contest. On a bright sunny September Saturday Slazenger’s development team travelled to Huntingdon School to play York. The team was a scratch team with Joshua Swallow and Nick Caldersley making their debut to senior hockey.
