As the new season gets underway, here’s a quick reminder about how the club helps cover travel costs for away matches.
If you’re driving to a Saturday game, you can claim fuel money through our reimbursement scheme — but only if there are at least three players in the car (including the driver). With fewer than three, no payment is made. This keeps things fair and encourages us all to share lifts where possible.
The exact mileage rate and details are in the attached spreadsheet, and your captain will help make sure the system is used fairly across the team.
A big thank you to everyone who offers lifts — without you, we simply wouldn’t make it to half our fixtures! Travelling together also makes for a much better team spirit on match days.
