U10 girls cup today and WOW they did not disappoint! The sun was shining and the results were spectacular!
We played four games and won four games. 1-0 against York, 6-0 against Wakefield, 7-0 against Rotherham and 4-0 against Driffield. Amie (GK) never touched the ball, the defence of Lorna and Amelia kept any attackers out of the D. Amelia supported Rosie in midfield and made some cracking passes to the forwards. Rosie showed off her silky skills in midfield and scored 5 goals including one spectacular goal lobbing the GK and hitting the net. Goals also came from Beth (2), Sophie (5), Lauren (6) and Edie was unlucky to not score. Sophie, Lauren and Beth all fought hard for the ball, making some great runs with the ball into the D. Player of the match was a tough decision today but went to Rosie. So proud of all these girls! Looking forward to the next round 💚🏑🤩
