The ladies 3rd team faced up against high flying Louth this week. Louth started strongly and applied pressure to Slazengers from the whistle resulting in a 2 goal lead within the first 20 minutes. But Slazengers continued to battle hard and refused to give the visitors the freedom of the pitch they have become accustomed to this season. The score at half time was 3 – 0 to the visitors.
In the second half Slazengers were able to resist multiple attacks from Louth as the Slazenger back four including joint players of the match Nicole Fillingham and Hannah Chilton remained focused and battled hard to keep Louth out of their D.
However they could not contain the louth attack totally and a further 2 goals were added to the scoreline before the final whistle, resulting in a 5-0 defeat.
