Slazenger had a tough encounter with Wakefield, however based on previous performances made their visitors look a lot better than they should. The team worked well in the early stages, with James Walker netting for the home team. However, Wakefield worked their way back into the game, equalising before the break.
In the second half, Slaz lost some of their structure, and allowed Wakefield to net a further two, putting the result beyond doubt.
