Slazengers mens first team continued their unbeaten start to the season with a hard fought 2-1 win over Brigg Mens 2’s. The game was scrappy and physical with both teams struggling to pass the ball but eventually some good interplay between Ben Graham and Dan Perry resulted in Graham crossing for Perry to convert at the far post.Brigg however weren’t to be denied and equalised off a short corner to go in at the break level. Slazengers continued to try and play throughout the second half only for Brigg to continually break down play and it was only thanks to an excellent individual run and finish from man of the match Perry that Slazengers took the victory.
