Slazenger U10’s performed creditably at the Huntington tournament in York, claiming a hat trick of wins.
New look Slaz got the ball rolling with a 2-0 victory over York B, with James Bennett and Tom Logan on target.
They edged past Rotherham 2-1 with Isaac Fisher and Joe Dransfield finding the net, before claiming a hat-trick of wins by sending Leeds packing 5-0.
Bennett and tom Logan plundered braces, with Fisher completing the nap hand.
Their first defeats came at the hands of Ben Rhydding who claimed a last-gasp 2-1 win after Jenson Brook gave Slaz the lead.
They followed that with a 3-1 reverse to York A with Logan netting their goal.
